Pit Master- Opening prep cook - Cox BBQ

Cox Bros. BBQ is immediately hiring a Team Member/Pit Master to join our fun and successful restaurant crew! This employee will work from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Restaurant team members should be friendly and willing to learn new tasks. Team members prepare and plate food with pride. On-the-job training in a fun and supportive atmosphere is provided. 

What you'll do as a Team Member/Pit Master:

• Manage the meat and other food items in the smoker, monitoring quality
• Prepares food daily
• Must be organized and have good time management skills
• Must assume responsibility for morning dishes, staying afloat for the morning shift
• Manage morning food trucks
• Work 2 smokers, monitoring the fire pit
• Use checklist for daily preparation

Team Member Qualifications:

• Able to lift 60 lbs.
• Food safety certification preferred
• Detail to cleanliness    
• Dependable
• Must be 18 years or older
