Piping Designer - Selectek, Inc.

Overview: Selectek is seeking a highly skilled Piping Designer to join our team. This role involves creating detailed fabrication drawings for CMS, who fabricates all pipes and fittings in their own shop. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial piping design and be proficient in AutoCAD Plant 3D.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed fabrication piping drawings based on engineering drawings.
• Redraw engineering drawings for construction purposes.
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure all designs meet project specifications.
• Utilize P&IDs and PFDs to develop accurate fabrication drawings.
• Design piping layouts and create piping isometric drawings.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulatory standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with other designers and engineers to ensure project success.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial piping design.
• Proven experience in creating industrial piping fabrication drawings using P&IDs and PFDs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Experience in creating piping isometric drawings.
• Strong working knowledge of best piping practices, industry standards, regulatory standards, codes, and design criteria.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
