Key Responsibilities:
Assist Pipe Fitter/Welders in the assembling and installation of HVAC piping and equipment and other related tasks.
- Install hangers and brackets used for equipment and pipe installation.
- Perform general labor including cleanup that is required for pipe or equipment installation.
- Retrieve fittings, pipe or other material from storage.
- Grind, brush and help prepare welds for welder.
- Clean up work area.
- Make sure tools are locked up at end of workday..
Qualifications
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- General knowledge of hand tools.
- Ability to follow specific directions.
- Must be able to hear, and speak clearly with professional standard grammar;
- Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 lbs., must have dexterity of fingers (or mechanical substitutions).
