Requirements:
To qualify for this role, you will need…
- Experience running/leading crews to lay underground water, sewer, or storm utilities.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, material types and specifications, and proper installation procedures for various types of pipe (push joint, mechanical joint, restraint joints, TR flex and flanged)
- Knowledge of proper trenching and shoring techniques, soil types, and dewatering strategies, as well as optimum moisture, density, and compaction requirements
- Ability to read and interpret plans/blueprints including pipe restraint joint charts
- Ability to operate heavy machinery including excavators and front-end loaders
- A positive attitude
- 5+ years of experience laying underground water, sewer, or storm utilities.

ACCOUNTABILITY:
As a pipe foreman, you are accountable for leading and developing a pipe crew to install water/sanitary sewer utilities and storm drains, while prioritizing safety, quality, and efficient production. You must plan and prepare relentlessly and effectively communicate this plan to the team.
CHARACTER:
As a pipe foreman, you are expected to lead with respect and integrity, and demand the same from your crew. You are ultimately responsible for the morale and culture of your team unit. No jerks allowed.

Details about the opportunity:
- Up to $1,700 weekly salary, based on experience
- Crew/Project Performance Incentive (“Win the Day”)
- Foreman receives 10% of labor savings from their crew, and an additional 10% of labor savings from the entire project (pooled from all crews)
- Company Performance Incentive (“Win the Year”)
- After meeting minimum performance standards, 30% of the company’s profits are shared among the employees.
- Saturday Incentive
- Our salaried foremen are offered an additional 20% of weekly pay if they perform a full production workday on a Saturday (6 workdays in the week)
- Safety Bonus
- Every employee gets a safety bonus each month when the company goes without a recordable incident.
Location Information:
- Office = Jacksonville, FL 32216 (Phillips Hwy between University and JTB)
- Jobsites = throughout NE Florida (within ~40 miles of Jacksonville)
Hours Information:
- Normal hours are M-F, 7am – 3:30pm
- Hours can extend depending on production/planning needs.
- Some Saturdays as necessary. We are off on Sundays.

- Pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and driving record review. Some of our clients require random drugs screens as well. This is a requirement for the job, so if you have concerns about being able to pass, please don’t apply.
