Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling piping systems, as well as performing welding tasks in a shop setting. If you have a strong background in pipe fitting and welding and are committed to quality and safety, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of reading and interpreting blue-prints and drawings.

• Measure and cut piping materials to specifications.

• Fabrication and assembly of welded spool pieces

• Welding experience on STIG/MIG/TIG.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and regulations.

• Collaborate with Branch/Shop Manager to ensure timely project completion.

• Troubleshoot and resolve piping and welding issues as they arise.

• Document work performed and maintained accurate records of materials and time spent.

Requirements:

• Five 5 + years experience working as a Pipefitter /welder.

• AWS certified Welder

• DOB Card

• Knowledge of Hydraulic Cutter, Threading and Grooving (300 & 700 Machine)

• Knowledge of utility (ConEd and National Grid) procedures is a plus

• Electrical experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification preferred.

• Proven experience as a pipefitter and welder, with a minimum of 5 plus years in the field.

• Proficient in various welding techniques and pipe fitting methods.

• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment (up to 50 pounds).

• Capability to work in various positions, including standing, kneeling, and bending.
