Picker Packer position in South Reno - Spherion

Spherion Staffing Reno, NV is recruiting for a picker/packer position for a medical supply warehouse in South Reno.
$17-$20 per hour DOE.
Searching for candidate who would like to advance to leadership role eventually.
Temp to hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:
Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
Processing orders and printing labels
Preparing shipments, including boxing, kitting, and organizing products
Assist with Inventory Management: Provide occasional support in managing inventory to ensure
timely product ordering, confirm stock availability for promotions, and familiarize with products
and services to assist warehouse operations as needed
Support Order Tracking & Customer Service: Offer occasional assistance with handling customer
inquiries, returns, and other requests via phone and email, collaborating with colleagues and
customers to resolve issues.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:
Attention to Detail: Ensures accurate order picking and packing to meet customer satisfaction
Time Management: Completes tasks within tight deadlines to meet shipment schedules
Basic Computer Skills: Ability to navigate order management and shipping software to print
labels and process orders
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, lift, and move packages throughout the shift
Reliability: Dependable and punctual, consistently contributing to the team's daily productivity
goals
Communication Skills: Clearly and effectively communicates with team members, supervisors
and customers to maintain a smooth workflow

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Flexible availability to meet peak workload demands, including occasional overtime if needed
