This role requires a unique blend of skills including legal research, hearings, managing case files, customer support, and assisting with trial preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury claims, ensuring each case is handled with the utmost professionalism and diligence.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to build strong cases and identify potential legal issues.
- Represent clients at hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
- Work closely with support staff to manage case files, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
- Provide exceptional customer support, maintaining regular communication with clients to keep them informed of case progress and addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
- Assist with trial preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, and preparing witnesses for testimony.
- Utilize excellent legal writing skills to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a PI Attorney.
- Proven experience in plaintiff representation.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Experience in conducting hearings and trials.
- Ability to manage case files effectively and work collaboratively with support staff.
- Strong customer service skills, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of client care.
- Demonstrated ability to assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and drafting of legal documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- A passion for justice and a strong commitment to advocating for the rights of personal injury victims.
