Join our dynamic Payment Posting team dedicated to ensuring accurate and efficient processing of payments, adjustments, and denials within the healthcare sector. As a Payment Poster Specialist, you'll play a vital role in reconciling payments from various insurance payers and patients while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and interpret explanation of benefits (EOB) from insurance carriers to accurately post payments and denial codes.
Enter remittance information into our systems with precision and adherence to prescribed formats.
Reconcile cash batches in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Achieve a 98% accuracy rate in batch posting.
Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing data by collaborating with supervisors.
Familiarize yourself with denial management systems and practice management software such as Epic, IDX, and ADS.
Embrace additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or management.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare insurance billing, with knowledge of various plan types (HMO/PPO/POS and Indemnity).
Strong data entry skills with the ability to handle high volumes of information.
Proficiency in 10-key skills, subject to testing.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while working efficiently.
Preferred knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, or medical terminology.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: Pay ranges from $12.30 to $18.40 per hour, depending on location, qualifications, and experience. Signing bonuses may be available for qualified new hires.
