Award-winning Children s Hospital affiliated with the University of California, Irvine, has an opening for a Pediatric Pulmonary Physician & Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship Program. The fellowship program maintains reputational success at a national level for over 30 years. This dual role will have dedicated time allocated for the role of Associate Program Director. The role will initially work closely with the current Program Director with the eventual goal to lead the fellowship program. The position will also provide outpatient clinical pediatric pulmonary services that includes general pediatric asthma & allergy as well as inpatient pediatric pulmonary consultations.

The Division consists of five Pulmonologists and one Allergy/Immunologist. The division has a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation accredited center, a fully functional pulmonary function test lab, a multidisciplinary PCD program and a multidisciplinary Severe Asthma clinic. The division provides comprehensive clinical services in pulmonary medicine, multidisciplinary management of airway disorders and neuromuscular disorders. Academic affiliation with the University of California Irvine provides for teaching opportunities for pediatric fellows, residents and medical students on a regular basis. Direct affiliation with the Translational Pulmonary and Immunology Research Center (TPIRC) allows for collaboration with an on site basic and translational research laboratory and biobank under the supervision of a PhD research team.
