Job Details:- Location: Near Palmer, AK
- Start Date: January 6, 2025
- Duration: Ongoing
- Schedule:
- Scheduled clinical hours plus call.
- Call response time required: 20 minutes.
- Setting: Inpatient consult liaison (no outpatient care required).
- Patient Load: To be determined.
- Specialty Areas:
- Anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and more.
- Familiarity with pharmacotherapy, group therapy, and family therapy required.
- Support Staff: Details to be provided.
- Board Certification: Required.
- Licensure: Must hold a valid Alaska license or qualify under the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
- Certifications: BLS certification required.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days.
- Experience: Preference for candidates with a fellowship or specialized training in Psychiatry.
- Electronic Medical Records: Epic system.
- Trauma Certification: Facility is stroke-certified.
- Call Details:
- Includes phone consultations and potential call-backs.
- Focus on both acute psychiatric care and follow-up evaluations.
