Corewell Health's Womens Health Service Line is expanding and seeks to add an OB/GYN academic hospitalist physician to our growing Core Faculty team at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI! Schedule consists of 12-hour restricted shifts
Opportunity Highlights
- A collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers, including certified nurse midwives, working at one of the highest volume labor and delivery units in the country.
- 12-hour shifts, working alongside a midwife and core faculty physician, as well as a robust MFM team.
- This service supports our academic OB service, uncovered OB and GYN patients, coverage for MFM patients, and night coverage for a community-based clinic, as well as the outpatient residency practice.
- Our Core Faculty team works in a professional environment and provides primary teaching of residents and medical students. Supervision of residents/medical students is a key component to this job and there is an active teaching component involved.
- We are supported to do clinical and basic science research.
- We provide the highest quality of patient care and strive to achieve quality initiative goals.
- Enjoy a culture of team-based care that includes close working relationships with medical social workers, diabetes educators, MIGS, UroGyn, Gyn Oncology, and Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists.
- Academic appointment opportunities are available with Michigan State University as an Assistant Professor
