As a Physician Liaison & Business Development Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to expand our network and enhance our presence in the medical community. Your primary role will involve traveling to various physician offices and participating in organized events—making up 70% of your responsibilities. The remaining 30% of your time will be dedicated to essential administrative duties from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Forge and nurture strong relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals. Act as a brand ambassador for Tucson Dermatology, educating them about our services and the benefits of appropriate referrals.
- Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the Marketing and Business Development Manager to enhance our marketing efforts. Visit physician offices, schedule meetings, and drive awareness about Tucson Dermatology within the community.
- Data Management: Oversee the marketing database, keeping track of new providers, address changes, and staff updates, with a focus on referral coordinators and nurses.
- Referral Tracking: Monitor and analyze referral trends, conducting monthly and quarterly evaluations to inform strategic planning.
- Event Participation: Plan and attend local and regional marketing events to promote our brand and services.
- Strategic Input: Engage in strategic planning and decision-making to advance our dermatology business.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, communications, or business administration.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in business sales, preferably with a background in pharmaceutical sales.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with emerging medical trends and technology is highly desirable.
- Skills: A customer service attitude, tech-savviness with EMR systems and Google Workspace, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attributes: Strong organization and time management abilities, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a spirit of continuous improvement.
