A facility is seeking an internal medicine physician for locum tenens coverage. The typical internal medicine clinic population has an average age of 70, with a fairly even split between male and female patients. Many have multiple comorbidities, including diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, and congestive heart failure.
Santa Cruz, California has it all with over 14 state parks, wineries, museums, farmer's markets, surfing, and shopping!
Shift times are weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break. The position is Monday through Friday every week, with no on-call duties, though candidates available for only a few days per week will also be considered.

Dates Needed: ASAP- as soon as credentialed - 6 months to a year
Case Load/PPD: 12-18 a day depending upon complexity (includes new patients)
