Physician Insurance Follow up Representative - HumanHire

HumanHire is seeking a Billing representativeto join a well-established medical practice. Our client is a growing medical practice that offers a competitive salary, great company culture, and advancement opportunities.

The role involves ensuring accurate and timely follow-up on outstanding claims, responding to inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Pay: $24-28/hr based on experience

Responsibilities

• Follow up on outstanding claims and respond to inquiries via phone, fax, and mail.
• Update patient demographics, registration screens, and billing systems.
• Handle self-pay accounts, process payments, and generate receipts.
• Research and update workers’ compensation, no-fault claims, and Medicaid eligibility.
• Address customer questions and provide courteous, timely assistance.

Preferred skills:

• Comprehensive knowledge of third-party regulations, medical terminology,
• Familiarity with Epic preferred
