This position will be focused on Advanced Endoscopy and could include time at Emory University Hospital, Emory Decatur Hospital, and Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Outpatient Clinic
- Endoscopic Procedures, including both General GI and Advanced Endoscopy.
- Procedure Block Time could be in both a Hospital and ASC setting.
- Inpatient responsibilities to include shared responsibility for weekend, holiday, and night call and shared responsibility for inpatient service weeks. Inpatient responsibilities include but are not limited to consults, rounding, and performing procedures.
- Adherence to Emory Policies, Procedures, and Expectations.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Gastroenterology fellowship
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Completion of an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship
- Meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
- Licensure by the Georgia Composite Medical Board will be required prior to commencement of employment
