Physician Compensation Analyst
Location: New Haven, Hybrid | Full-Time
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
Summary:
CFS has partnered with a world-renowned university to hire a Physician Compensation Analyst. This critical role is responsible for administering, analyzing, and evaluating physician compensation models to ensure they align with Fair Market Value (FMV) guidelines, organizational equity standards, and performance objectives. The Physician Compensation Analyst will provide key insights, optimize processes, and ensure competitive, compliant compensation practices that drive organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities for the Physician Compensation Analyst:
- Maintain and administer compensation models for employed physicians, ensuring alignment with FMV guidelines and organizational equity standards. (25%)
- Create and distribute productivity reports and performance dashboards to providers and departmental leadership, offering insights for informed decision-making and performance optimization. (15%)
- Manage annual salary resets, bi-weekly physician payroll, starting salary evaluations, new hire payroll setup, and provider contracting to ensure competitive and compliant compensation practices. (15%)
- Conduct market research and analyze industry-specific trends to ensure compensation models are competitive, sustainable, and aligned with corporate performance standards. (15%)
- Monitor and evaluate the structural performance of compensation models, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while identifying opportunities for process improvement. (15%)
- Collaborate across teams to support operational excellence and organizational growth as the Physician Compensation Analyst. (15%)
Preferred Qualifications for the Physician Compensation Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in compensation administration, including incentive design.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and data analytics.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare finance, including physician compensation, revenue cycle management, reimbursement methodologies, and cost accounting.
- High level of analytical ability and proven success managing multiple priority projects effectively and efficiently.
