About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely claim submission to payers and follow up on claims with no response or payer rejections.
- Handle payer rejections, correspondence, contract variances, and appeal denials based on HB (Hospital-Based) or PB (Professional Billing) requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation in the facility's billing system for all accounts.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient and third-party billing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Review, investigate, and resolve credit balances.
- Utilize EPIC software (a plus) for billing and resolution tasks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and physician billing processes.
Requirements:
- Physician Billing Experience Required
- Knowledge of denial management and follow-up processes.
- Proficiency in claim submission and resolving payer rejections.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- EPIC experience is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (CPC, RHIT, etc.) preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Position Details:
- Hybrid Work Model: After training, work 3 days remotely and 2 days on-site.
