Join our team today!Job SummaryJob Summary: We are seeking Audiologists who are experts in providing services in the prevention, diagnosis, and evidenced-based treatment of hearing and balance disorders for people of all ages. Hearing and balance disorders are complex with medical, psychological, physical, social, educational, and employment implications. Our Audiologists must provide professional and personalized services to minimize the negative impact of these disorders, leading to improved outcomes and quality of life.Responsibilities include:Examine patients who have hearing, balance, or related ear problemsAssess the results of the examination and diagnose problemsDetermine and administer treatment to meet patients goalsProvide treatment for tinnitus, a condition that causes ringing in the earFit and dispense hearing aidsCounsel patients and their families on ways to listen and communicate, such as lip reading or through technologyEvaluate patients regularly to check on hearing and balance and to continue or change treatment plansRecord patient progressResearch the causes and treatment of hearing and balance disordersEducate patients on ways to prevent hearing lossEqual Opportunity EmployerEssen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.Job Type: Full-time
