In your job, you will have the ability to make a difference in a patient’s journey by:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for individual patients.
- Initiate and document appropriate interventions.
- Prescribe drug therapies per protocol/physician consultation.
- Assist physicians and perform procedures as needed; conduct patient assessments and provide physician with information prior to seeing the patient.
- Assess patient/family needs and provide education; promote wellness and recommend community resources.
- Promote/provide staff education.
- Complete patient office bill.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Zero (0) to three (3) years of experience as a practicing Physician Assistant.
- Current state license as a Physician Assistant in practicing state.
- Current BCLS.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Previous experience in oncology.
- Incorporates evidence-based research into clinical practice.
- Knowledgeable of reimbursement procedures and documentation requirements.
- Knowledge of mentoring new mid-level providers.
