WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in Northwest Indiana to provide Urology care for our patients in Dyer. Join our practice which includes one physician and one physician assistant as they provide ambulatory clinic care, hospital rounding and surgical cases. We are seeking a long-term partnership with a provider who is willing to work closely with others. Franciscan Physician Network strongly supports advanced practice providers by allowing them to be autonomous in building their own practice while collaborating with the care team.
WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will have prior experience in both ambulatory clinic and be skilled in the surgery setting. Candidate would thrive in a fast-paced environment and be team-oriented. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. Candidate will also have desire to develop strong ties with patients and the community in which they serve.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
Practice Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Schedule: 36 hours of patient contact and 4 hours of administrative work
Primary responsibilities include hospital rounding, assisting in surgery and clinic
Potential for shared weeknight call after training
Average clinic volume: 8 - 12 patients per day
Coverage includes Dyer, Hammond and Munster campuses
Support staff includes 4 MAs, 1 RN, 1 Surgical Scheduler
Virtual visits being offered
Strong primary care referral base - over 30 new patient referrals monthly
In-network specialty services: Urodynamics, in-office biopsies, in-office cystoscopy
Strong mentorship available from seasoned providers within the practice
Opportunity to assist with pediatric cases
Collaboration in Operating Room working with DaVinci XI robotics
Onsite Equipment: 2 fully equipped procedure rooms, Cystoscope, Transrectal Ultrasound
