The Position: We are currently in search of a Physician Assistant. The right candidate will possess:
- Organizational and analytical skills necessary to maintain efficient workflow.
- Ability to adjust responsibilities to accommodate a fast-paced work environment while maintaining excellent customer service and staff interactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with patients and families effectively and courteously, clients, coworkers, clinical staff, and physicians.
- Progressive thinking for budget, training, and quality issues.
- Strong leadership qualities.
Essential Functions:
- Experience within urgent care, primary care or emergency department setting preferred.
- Knowledge of basic emergency department, internal medicine, generalist, occupational medicine, and family practice procedures required.
- Experience with pediatrics required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Must be certified by NCCPA.
- Current license as a Physician Assistant in Rhode Island is required.
- Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
