Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients under the supervision of a physician, including but not limited to, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
2. Utilize EHR system effectively for patient documentation, clinical decision support, and data management.
3. Manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions, offering comprehensive pain management strategies and interventions.
4. Perform physical examinations, interpret lab tests, and analyze patient medical histories to assess patient health status.
5. Develop and implement patient management plans, record patient progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care.
6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure patient needs are met and continuity of care is maintained.
7. Participate in educational activities to keep abreast of the latest developments in Pain Medicine and Physician Assistant practice.
8. Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and protocols, and maintain ethical standards of the medical profession.
Qualifications:
1. Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
2. Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant license.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in Pain Medicine.
4. Proficiency in using EHR systems for patient documentation and data management.
5. Excellent knowledge of therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative patient care services.
6. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
9. Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
10. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
