Exciting Opportunity for a Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant!
We have an exceptional opening for a Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant to join the Plastic Surgery team at one of our esteemed clients. The role involves working closely with both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery patients, providing a wide range of services. The PA will act as a first assist in surgical procedures and offer post-operative care in the clinic, including suture removals, wound checks, and minor in-office procedures.
Key Responsibilities for the Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant:
- Deliver expert patient care, demonstrating advanced clinical knowledge.
- Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic health issues within the specialty.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
Clinical Duties Plastic Surgery Physician Assistant:
- Perform comprehensive health assessments, including taking health histories and physical examinations.
- Implement primary prevention strategies and manage stable health conditions.
- Provide specialized care for both stable and chronic health issues.
- Establish diagnoses for short-term and chronic health conditions.
- Prescribe medications, dietary plans, supplies, and other necessary health aids.
- Evaluate patients' needs for further healthcare interventions.
- Document all patient care and procedures in the medical record.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
- Valid Physician Assistant license in the State
- Minimum of three years of experience in plastic surgery as a PA.
