We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Physician Assistants to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities:
1. Provide urgent and non-urgent health care services to patients of all ages, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions.
2. Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of the supervising physician.
3. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
4. Prescribe medication, write orders for medical treatments and therapies, and monitor effectiveness.
5. Assist physicians by recording patient history, physical examination results, and changes in medical condition in the medical record.
6. Educate and counsel patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
7. Participate in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and patient care programs.
8. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to patients.
9. Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
10. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.
Qualifications:
1. Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
2. Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in an urgent care setting.
4. Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
5. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
6. Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently and make critical decisions.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
8. Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
9. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
10. Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
11. Knowledge of current medical legislation and standards.
