Physician Assistant Deer Park, NY
We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant to join our medical practice in Deer Park, NY. We are flexible in our need and can accommodate a Physician Assistant looking for either part time or full-time work. The PA-C will work under the supervision of the Physician or Surgeon but may also work independently, consulting with Physicians when necessary. Experience in all areas of medicine a plus but may specialize in an area such as pain management. Our ideal practitioner demonstrates a strong attention to detail, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a great bedside manner, and is competent in their clinical skills.
Duties:
-Evaluate and mange patient care
-Coordination of care
-Provide continuity of patient care
-Patient consultation- See new and follow up with major medical patients, Physical exam, and take social/medical histories
-Order and review tests/diagnostics
-Document encounter
-Create treatment plans
-Prescribe medication
-Health promotion and maintenance
-Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
-Assist practice physician when needed
-Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
-Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
-PA-C licensed to practice in NY
-Clinical skills in Pain Management and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation knowledge a plus
-BLS certification
-Recent grads welcome
Compensation:
-$50-$70 per hour (DOE)
Schedule:
-Part time or Full time
