Physical Therapy Technician/Front Desk Clerk - Pearland - Full Time - Days - OakBend Medical Center

Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Technician/Front Desk Clerk will be utilized in supervised patient treatments and in maintaining the PT department in a clean and orderly manner. Responsible for front desk duties including scheduling patients, answering phone calls and verifying insurance.

MINIMUM EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.Graduation from a technical program preferred. 

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in Physical Therapy clinic preferred.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care. Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses. Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric. Proficiency in computer skills (using Microsoft office, internet, etc.). Excellent interpersonal skills required.
