Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Pawling

The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Pawling is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Position can be Full-Time or Per-Diem

PTA Duties Include:

• Measuring & recording resident motor function, strength & muscle performance.
• Assisting physical therapists in developing treatment plans.
• Observing residents; writing progress reports.
• Evaluating residents' ability to function independently.
• Assisting residents with exercises & equipment; treating residents with stretches, massages, etc.
• Educating residents on how to exercise properly to strengthen muscle & improve mobility.
• Contributing to team effort.

Requirements Include:

• Graduate of an accredited PTA Program.
• Current New York State PTA License.
• Experience in LTC is a plus!
