- Position Summary
- The Physical Therapist performs therapeutic interventions, including compensation, remediation and prevention strategies and adaptations, focusing on functional mobility and safe, efficient access and participation in activities and routines at Spring Harbor Academy. The Physical Therapist will work with members of the team to design and provide services that support the achievement of academic, behavioral, and daily living goals of students in accordance with the IEP and Behavior Plans and that will ultimately allow the student to progress towards fulfilling the Learning Standards. These services will meet required behavioral, academic, and daily living activities of patients/students in accordance with IEP, behavior and treatment plans.
- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Master’s degree in Physical Therapy unless grandfathered.
- License/Certifications: State of Maine licensure.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience providing physical therapy services for children with autism and other developmental disorders.
