Full-Time Physical Therapist – Empower Recovery in Washington, DC

Are you a Physical Therapist eager to make a real difference? Join our compassionate team at an Assisted Living Facility near DuPont Circle in Washington, DC. In this role, you’ll help residents rebuild strength, regain independence, and restore confidence in their daily lives. Collaborating with a skilled team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, doctors, and nursing staff, you’ll deliver personalized care that supports meaningful outcomes and enhances quality of life.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Patient Load: 7 patients per day (35 per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments to understand each resident’s unique needs and develop customized care plans.
• Use hands-on therapy techniques to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and support functional independence.
• Monitor progress closely, fine-tuning treatment plans to ensure residents achieve their goals.
• Educate residents and their families on rehabilitation exercises and strategies for continued improvement at home.

Salary: $90,000k - $100,000k annually

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active WA State license as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (new graduates are welcome to apply).
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and EMR systems (e.g., WebPT).
• Clean professional record with no disciplinary actions.
