One of our top clients is seeking a compassionate and experienced Physical Therapist to join their dedicated team in providing high-quality care for our geriatric patient population. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of older adults.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including evaluations of functional limitations, pain, and range of motion.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide a variety of therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to:
- Therapeutic exercises
- Gait training
- Balance training
- Manual therapy techniques
- Functional mobility training
- Patient education and home exercise programs
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
- Participate in team meetings and continuing education programs.
- Adhere to all professional and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Washington.
- Minimum of [Number] years of experience working with geriatric patients preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in geriatric rehabilitation, including fall prevention, balance disorders, and neurological conditions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
