One of our clients, is looking for an Physical Therapist.
Location: Union, NJ
Position Type: Full-Time/Perm
Schedule: Mon (Clark): 8am – 4:30pm, (Linden) Tue -Thu 9:30am – 6pm, Fri: 8am-12pm(Linden)/ 12-4pm (Union)
Description:
• We are looking for a skilled Physical Therapist who will be responsible for providing patient care including assessing, interpreting, planning and implementing specialized physical therapy treatments.
• Experience using TheraOffice is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Facilitates and implements current PT treatments
• Complies with HIPAA, OSHA and Red Flag Rules
• Complies and follows Medicare and other third-party payers' guidelines and rules Provide PT care that complies with organization's best practices, standards, policies and procedures
• Complies with both federal and state guidelines, including all licensing requirements
• Evaluation and re-evaluation of patient
• Interprets evaluation data, history, and applicable medical documentation to determine rehabilitation potential and potential benefit from intervention
• Identifies physical, social, and psychological needs of the patient, family, and significant other
• Utilizes patient/family/care giver input in setting functional rehabilitation goals
• Documents goals in functional, measurable terms with stated time frames and Incorporates information gained in evaluation and assessment to determine appropriate, specific treatment plan for intervention and involves others when appropriate
• Provides education appropriate to each patient's level of understanding regarding evaluation, treatment, and self-responsibility and instructs in home treatment program to facilitate rehabilitation and promote independence in care as appropriate
• Collaborates with patient, caregivers, and other health care professionals in planning discharge from rehabilitation services and confers and communicates with referring physicians and other appropriate persons using progress notes, letters, evaluations, team meetings, and direct contact concerning the proposed course, progress, and discharge plan of each patient
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• New Jersey Physical Therapy License
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience as a practicing physical therapist is a plus
• Effective communication skills
• Strong ethical and moral character references

Salary: $100,000 - 120,000 (5-10K Signing Bonus)
