We are on the hunt for a motivated and experienced Permanent Physical Therapist to join our dynamic medical team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual who is eager to make a significant impact in the lives of our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing and managing high-quality, efficient care to patients with various physical conditions and disabilities. The role requires hands-on skills, a comprehensive understanding of the human body, and a passion for health and wellness.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Physical Therapist, you will be expected to:
1. Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and monitor progress regularly.
2. Utilize various therapeutic modalities and techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and health education.
3. Provide rehabilitation for orthopedic, sports, geriatric, neurological, cardiopulmonary conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders.
4. Offer post-surgical rehabilitation to help patients regain mobility and strength.
5. Work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
6. Ensure patient safety and deliver quality care at all times.
7. Promote health and wellness, providing guidance on fitness and strength training.
8. Provide home care services for patients unable to attend regular sessions.
9. Educate patients and their families about the therapeutic process and how to manage their conditions independently.
10. Keep up-to-date records of patient's conditions, therapy programs, and progress.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have:
1. A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
2. A valid license to practice physical therapy.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
4. Proficiency in using therapeutic modalities and a wide range of physical therapy techniques.
5. Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, geriatric rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal disorders.
6. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and acute care.
7. Experience in outpatient orthopedics, post-surgical rehabilitation, and home care.
8. Exceptional patient service skills and a strong commitment to delivering quality patient care.
9. Excellent physical fitness and the ability to demonstrate proper exercise techniques.
10. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
11. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with advancements in the field.
