Located in Largo in the heart of Prince George’s County, our new state-of-the-art regional medical center (UM Capital Region Medical Center) will provide improved access to primary and ambulatory care services, and serve as a tertiary care center for critically ill patients. In addition, our new space will allow us to expand our offerings as a community partner to help improve the health status of Prince George’s County residents.
Job DescriptionPhysical Therapist, PRN position
We’re looking for Physical Therapists to join our extraordinary Physical Medicine team at UM Capital. Our affiliation with the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) has created a number of new career pathways and makes this the perfect time for you to join our team.
As a Physical Therapist you will plan, organize, and conduct individualized physical therapy programs to help patients restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent/limit permanent physical disabilities following injury or disease. Teaches patients to use assistive and adaptive devices. Instructs patients in posture and therapeutic exercises to be continued at home. Studies, evaluates, and records patients’ activities and progress.
