Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist will work as a member of the healthcare team at Metropolitan Health Group to evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions. This position requires a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, as well as experience with a variety of therapeutic interventions and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of patients to determine appropriate treatment plans and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs, goals, and functional abilities.
- Use a variety of therapeutic interventions and equipment to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and range of motion.
- Instruct patients and their families on exercise programs, home exercise programs, and self-care techniques to optimize recovery and prevent re-injury.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to coordinate care and ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain and improve clinical skills and knowledge.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards of practice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state license to practice Physical Therapy.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, as well as a variety of therapeutic interventions and equipment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment.
Physical Therapist Assistant:
Wages: Contract - $55,000 - $65,000 yearly

This position requires a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, as well as experience with a variety of therapeutic interventions and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the licensed Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and ongoing assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and goals.
