Overview:

Due to growth, Sentry Safety and Physical Therapy Specialists is now hiring a full-time

Physical Therapist for an Outpatient Orthopedics position in Roswell, New Mexico. Candidates with 40 hours per week of availability are preferred, however a minimum of 32 hours per week is required.

The ideal candidate has a comfort level and passion for manual therapy.

New grad Physical Therapists with orthopedic focus will be supported and mentored.

Caseload / Patient Population:

The caseload can be full-time outpatient or a mixture of outpatient with aquatic therapy. Home Health (Medicare Part A) caseload is also available, if desired, by the candidate hired.

The age of patients ranges from young athletes to geriatrics. Outpatient needs the most coverage. When you evaluate a patient, you will then see that patient for their entire progression of care. Patient care is provided with a one-on-one treatment model. Double booking only occurs at the discretion of the clinician.

Compensation and Benefits:

Two compensation models are offered. A pay per visit model is available and ranges between $40 - $45 per visit. An annual salary is also available and starts at $90,000 per year. The compensation package will increase based on the experience of the candidate hired.

PTO is available if salaried. The company offers 401k with a 4% company match. Sentry Safety and Physical Therapy Specialists has a dedication to continuing education. PTs receive $1,500 per year for continuing education.

There is a 24-week dedicated mentorship program for new therapists. For the first 8 weeks, mentor meetings happen 2x / week; the next 16 weeks, meetings are 1x / week. Meetings are either sit-down one-on-one Q&A or co-treating patients for skill building.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position. The clinic is open Monday-Friday. On Tuesday and Friday, the clinic opens at 7am. The clinic closes at 2:00pm on Friday. No weekends. No holidays!

Job Requirements:

Eligible for New Mexico state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Prior outpatient ortho experience is preferred. New grad PTs will be considered.

Full-time availability is required. Candidates with 32+ hours of availability will be considered.
