About the Job
Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility - Staff Physical Therapists.
We are looking for experienced PTs for our new Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility opening in August 2022. Your starting date can be as soon as February 2022 as a part of our early phase-in plan.
This new 36-bed IRF will occupy an entire floor of the West Marion Community Hospital in Ocala.
This will be a world-class facility and we are looking for extraordinary therapists to help us make this the premiere IRF in central Florida.
Strive! Health and Rehabilitation is the provider of rehab services to West Marion Community Hospital and Ocala Regional Medical Center. You will therefore be working as an employee of a therapist-owned and operated company. We are a progressive, ethical, and well-respected company with a 38-year history in the region.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
- Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
- Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
- Record and document patient care services
- Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related field
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
Skills
- Proven work experience as a physical therapist
- Intensive education and clinical expertise
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Drive to continually learn and grow
- Professional behavior
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Valid license to practice physical therapy
- Graduate degree or greater in physical therapy
