Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to enhance children's physical abilities and overall development.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines.
- Monitor and document progress towards goals, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide guidance and education to family members and other caregivers to support the child's development and participation in natural environments.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of young children's motor skills and developmental stages (optional)
- Manage scheduling and caseload based on personal availability and capacity.
Qualifications:
- Valid NYS state license as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience in pediatric physical therapy or early intervention preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse families and team members.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
