We are seeking a new Physical Therapist to join our team. Your role will be to oversee the creating and execution of physician prescribed customized treatment programs that help patients increase their mobility, reduce pain, and prevent or recover from injuries. The role involves examining patient medical histories, evaluating their physical condition and function, and developing comprehensive treatment plans such as but not limited to post-surgical therapy, injury, stroke, geriatric, rehabilitation,etc..
As a member of the Homecare Physical Therapy department, you will work with PT's and Physical Therapy Assistants and report to our Lead Therapist.
What You Will Do:
- Homecare Physical Therapy
- Manage/Oversee Physical Therapy Assistants
What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have New Grads to 3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:
- A degree in Physical Therapy - DPT, MPT, or equivalent
- A valid state license to practice as a physical therapist
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Demonstrated expertise in physical therapy treatments and protocols accross lifespan
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR)
- Familiarity with billing and coding practices within physical therapy
- Ability to monitor and document patient progress and generate reports
- Completion or enrollment in continuing education courses to maintain licensure and stay current on industry developments
