Summary:
As an Inpatient Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing physical therapy programs for patients admitted to the hospital. Your primary focus is to enhance the functional abilities and mobility of individuals recovering from surgery, illness, or injury during their inpatient stay. Collaborating with healthcare teams, you will contribute to the overall well-being and rehabilitation of patients within the hospital setting.

Qualifications:
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
CPR certification.
Experience in inpatient or acute care settings is preferred.
Knowledge of relevant medical conditions, treatments, and rehabilitation techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical assessments to evaluate patients' functional status, mobility, strength, and range of motion.
- Review medical histories and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to gather relevant information.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings and in consultation with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
- Administer physical therapy interventions, exercises, and modalities to improve patients' physical function and independence.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary, considering the patient's progress and any changes in medical status.
- Educate patients and their families on the goals of physical therapy, expected outcomes, and home exercise programs to support continuity of care.
- Provide guidance on adaptive equipment, mobility aids, and techniques for safe and effective movement.
