Physical Therapist Dunkirk, MD (25 miles S of Annapolis)
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our practice full time in Dunkirk and Prince Frederick, MD. The incoming Physical Therapist will be evaluating patients and developing effective plans of care (POC) based on their injuries and limitations.

For almost 20 years, private practice, therapist-owned, outpatient physical therapy clinic has been committed to helping the people of Prince Frederick and Dunkirk improve their health and well-being, restoring the functionality and mobility. We have an outstanding and well-respected team of PT's, and we collaborate with each other and the patients to give our patients the best care that they need and deserve! Our healthcare professionals offer customized treatment plans including the state-of-the-art methods of both traditional and cutting-edge therapeutic care. We treat a large variety of post-operative surgical orthopedic patients as well as acute strains, sprains, MVA and work-related injuries.
Duties:
-Patient Consultation-review health and medical histories, exam patients, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and reason for visit
-Consult with referring Physicians/Healthcare team regarding diagnosis as needed
-Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs
-Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques to include exercise instruction, modern modalities, and activities of daily living. Orthotics and dry needling if certified
-Compose discharge notes for patients, refer to appropriate outside sources, as necessary
-Patient education on the benefits of PT, treatment plan maintenance, and home exercises
-Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit
-Collaboration with the other PTs and healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
-Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients
-Contribute to the development and promotion of the practice
-Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude
Requirements:
-Graduation from an Accredited Physical Therapy Program , DPT preferred
-PT License in MD
-Outpatient clinical experience is a necessity.
Schedule:
-Full time
-4 ten-hour days. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (we are flexible with schedules)
Compensation:
-$80k-$110k per year (DOE)
