Job Description:
-FAR GROUP is looking for a qualified Physical Therapist, to provide physical therapy services on-site at The 148th Fighter Wing, Duluth, MN.

Special Qualifications:
The following qualifications shall be met by the minimum personnel required to meet the requirements of the service outlined in this job description.
• Must be a current Licensed Physical Therapist, holding a degree from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited institution.
• Must be a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
• Must have experience working with patients.
• Must be Licensed in the state of Minnesota
• Must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience is desired.
Working Hours:
The contractor shall provide services between the flying hours of 0700-1600 or 1300-2000
on Monday through Friday, except on recognized US holidays or when the Government facility/installation is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings,
or similar Government-directed facility/installation closings.
Tasks and duties:
• Conduct thorough assessments of military personnel's physical condition, including musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and neurological systems.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, setting specific goals, and selecting appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Implement a wide range of treatment techniques, including exercises, manual therapy, modalities,
and functional training, to promote recovery and enhance physical function.
• Educate military personnel on injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and exercise techniques to optimize performance and reduce the risk of injuries.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes.
• Participate in research activities and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and contribute to advancements in the field of physical therapy.
• Perform administrative responsibilities as assigned, such as supervising therapy staff, managing equipment and supplies and contributing to departmental operations.
