Physical Therapist - Gulfport, MS

Join the Virtus Healthcare Staffing Team! We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our partner, a healthcare facility in Gulfport, MS.

Job Description:

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Providing therapeutic interventions such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, functional training, and patient education on home exercise programs.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure coordinated and effective care.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Required Qualifications:

• Physical Therapist license for the state of MS

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Monday - Friday
• No weekend rotation
