Home Health - Physical Therapy Assistant/PTA
Location(s): Desoto, Tx area
Days Monday – Friday 8a-5p with flexibility
Pay Rate: $35-45/hr DOE
Milage reimbursement
We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Home Health - Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses, improve their mobility, and regain independence in their daily lives. This role will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients.
Qualifications:
• Be able to implement care plans and communicate any findings or changes regarding patients back to the Physical Therapist and physician.
• Ability to educate patients and their families in basic home safety and medical equipment safety.
• Strong understand of DME and ability to educate and implement
• Strong understand of physical rehabilitation and exercise science
• Ability to successfully guild patients through Therapeutic movements/ exercises
• Experience working with Geriatric population
• Home health experience a plus
Required Certifications and Licensures:
• Associate degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• Have a valid license, registration, or permit to practice in state of agency operation. (TX)
• Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role.
• Must be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locations.
