Pay range: $73,000 - $105,000 per year

Barrow Brain and Spine is a private practice focused in the areas of neurosurgery, advanced spine care and pain management. As a partner of Barrow Neurological Institute, the practice encompasses 32 neurosurgeons, 8 physiatrists and performs more than 9,000 surgeries each year. This globally recognized group directs the Neurosurgery Residency Program at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona and serves more than 21,000 patients per year. Barrow Brain and Spine currently has 3 outpatient physical therapy locations available to all patients (internal and external). All locations are dispersed throughout the greater Phoenix area with the goal of continued expansion.

Job Information
Barrow Brain and Spine (BBS) is hiring a motivated Physical Therapist to work in a growing outpatient clinic. We are a team of experienced Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Technicians who value a multi-disciplinary approach, working closely with many other healthcare professionals at BBS, as well as outside of BBS, to aid our patients in achieving the best possible outcomes. Our patient population consists of a wide range of orthopedic diagnoses, with a slightly increased emphasis on spine. We place great value on providing a high quality of care for every patient through a comprehensive approach, including (but not limited to) manual therapy, individualized exercise programs, functional movement analysis, etc. To achieve and maintain this high quality of care, we utilize weekly clinical in-service opportunities to continue building the skills of our team members. At BBS we place the highest importance on patient outcomes, clinic culture, employee growth and satisfaction, and a strong team mentality, and we are currently looking for a Physical Therapist who is equally committed to these values. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess patients’ physical conditions and needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor and document patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for HEP
- Collaborate with a wide range of healthcare practitioners (other PT’s, neurosurgeons, physiatrists, NP’s, PA’s, etc.) to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care
- Appropriate delegation of care amongst the clinic care team
Education& Experience
- MSPT or DPT from an accredited program
- Valid Arizona PT license
- Ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities.
- 1-2 years experience (preferred)
- Experience treating a wide range of spine conditions (preferred, but still expected to treat all body parts/areas)
