• Position: Physical Therapist
• Salary: Up to $42 /hr

At Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation, we're in search of a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. This role offers both weekday and weekend hours, providing you with flexibility and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

As a Physical Therapist at Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will:

• Evaluate residents, establish treatment goals, implement therapy plans, and maintain detailed documentation.
• Apply therapeutic techniques in areas such as gait, ambulation, muscle strength, coordination, and more.
• Design and fit adaptive devices, and train residents in their use.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to create individualized treatment plans.
• Provide instruction and evaluate client progress, adapting programs as needed.
• Contribute to resident care conferences and related meetings.
• Supervise support personnel in accordance with professional standards.
• Conduct training programs and share your expertise with medical and nursing staff.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for our residents.

Requirements:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
