Job Description:
Our client is in search of a highly skilled and patient-focused Physical Therapist. This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing exceptional physical therapy services and dedicated to patient wellness. The candidate should hold a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, along with relevant certifications, and be committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality healthcare to patients, focusing on physical therapy.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients and develop comprehensive plans of care.
- Provide treatment to patients, setting measurable and functional goals.
- Educate patients about treatment options and home exercise programs.
- Supervise aides and monitor patient progress.
- Focus on pain management as a key aspect of patient care.
- Determine appropriate discharge timing and educate patients on proper mechanics and strategies.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient care.
- Achieve a reasonable level of productivity, contributing to the clinic’s success.
- Participate in research studies and contribute to the development of treatment protocols.
- Provide input on clinic policies, procedures, and strategic planning.
- Address patient feedback and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
- Stay current with the latest physical therapy research and techniques for ongoing skills development.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
- Valid certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS).
- Additional certifications such as Wellness Coaching, Clinical Exercise Physiologist, or Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional.
