+ Department: Physical Therapy
+ Schedule: PRN (not scheduled to work a specified number of hours per pay) - Day shift;0730-4:00pm, there is flexibility with the start and end time. 2 Weekend days per month is the minimum requirement as well as 2 hard to fill days. Both Macomb and Oakland hospitals. Cross trained between IPR and Acute care.

Responsibilities
Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.
+ Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
+ Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
+ Document treatment interventions given.
+ May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
