2. **Perform Therapeutic Exercises:** Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
3. **Provide Modalities:** Apply modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and traction as directed by the PT.
4. **Monitor Patients:** Monitor patients' progress during therapy sessions, report observations to the PT, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
5. **Assist with Mobility:** Assist patients in performing exercises and activities that promote mobility, including transfers and gait training.
**Qualifications:**
1. **Education:** Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
2. **Licensure:** Valid licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
3. **Experience:** Some positions may require previous experience in a healthcare setting, though entry-level positions are available.
