Physical Therapist Assistant - Home Health - Frontline Medical Group

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home care team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapy services to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work independently in a home care setting.

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans designed to help patients achieve their goals and improve their functional mobility.
  
• Provide direct therapy services to patients as prescribed by the Physical Therapist, including exercises, manual therapy, and use of therapeutic equipment.
  
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
  
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and techniques to enhance recovery and maintain functional improvements.
  
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  
• Travel to patients' homes to provide therapy services, adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  
• Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques, modalities, and best practices.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Requirements: 1 year of recent Home care experience (Private duty does not qualify) BLS Valid RN license in MA Driver's license
