Duties:
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists to assess patients' physical conditions and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans
- Assist in implementing and administering therapeutic exercises and activities designed to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and range of motion
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities, providing guidance for continued practice at home
- Support in monitoring patients' progress and promptly communicate any observed changes, assisting in adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Contribute to accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries
- Work closely with the healthcare team, fostering effective communication and coordination of patient care
Experience:
- Completion of a Physical Therapist Assistant program from an accredited institution
- Possession of a valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
